Minimum About Me

Hi, my name is Xinle Cheng, a junior majoring in Computer Science. I’m a junior researcher, and my research interest lies in the intersection of Machine Learning algorithms and systems.

Recently, my work focuses on efficient algorithms for Large Language Models, such as pruning and quantization. Prior to LLMs, my research centered around self-supervised learning and representation learning. I also have submitted papers to top Machine Learning Conferences.

I also really enjoy math, especially, and I’m fond of group theory. I love concise and clear math proofs, as well as concise prose. I also enjoy writing prose.

Out of academics, I play tennis and love food.
